I am satisfied with this purchase since I use my Electrolux Guardian Encore daily. The bags are quite spacious and sufficient for thorough vacuuming of multiple heavy carpets, bare floors, and dusting furniture in a 3 floor household. Most allergens including pet dander and pollen are eliminated in addition to odors. The self-sealing design is similar to that of the Electrolux Style C bags. However, these bags are generic and not genuine Electrolux products which is revealed if you compare the quality of the paper with that of the genuine type.

I have been using Electrolux bags for 41 years and these are about the cheepest bags that I have seen or used. They are only 1 ply construction instead of the three ply that they should be. If you use bags that are not Approved by Electrolux it voids the warranty and it also will damage your motor. If I just want a bag that will hold dirt then this is ok but if I want a bag to help filter the air and protect the motor as well as holds dirt then these are NOT the BAGS TO USE. I use to sell Electrolux Vacuums as well so I know what I’m talking about. They say that these are a Hepa type filter bag keeping 99% of the air clean, well unless they did some major changes in the materials they are using now I don’t believe it! Sorry I don’t

While these bags are thinner than the bags I’ve previously purchased at an Electrolux store, these bags are awesome! Why? Because the price is fantastic and they do a GREAT job! They don’t break. People who gave a bad review were speaking based on fears and concerns, not facts. Let’s remember, this IS a brown paper bag to collect dirt and dust and then toss out into the garbage…. We don’t need to pay tons of extra money for multiple layers that are not needed. My vacuum has a separate HEPA filter, but all vacuums are going to stir up dust and dirt, with or without a filter, and bag-free vacuums create a dust cloud when emptying. It’s great to finally find affordable bags…. Who wants to pay more to simply collect dirt and through away?! These are the only bags I will be buying.

These bags did not fit in my Electrolux Renaissance style R vacuum. Every time I put in a new bag the vacuum bag light would go on. The hose cannot insert into the bag correctly due to the way the bag is made. Won’t buy from this seller again.

This may sound crazy, but this was a good buy. I have a 30 year old Electrolux vacuum, and finding bags for the blasted thing has been a chronic headache, unless you want to drive into a rotten part of town to find the store (which is closed just as often as not) or pay a mint. If the vacuum weren’t such a resilient piece of machinery, I’d scrap it in favor of something easier to find bags for. Thanks to this and Amazon, I don’t have to.

These bags are just fine when you need replacement bags – well constructed, good price. Recommended.

Keep in mind that while these bags will work in your Electriloux Guardian vacumn cleaner, they do not contain the HEPA filtration system that the real bags have. They are just empty bags and also affect the suction as well. They are ok to use like every other time you change bags to stretch the life of the more expensive brand names ones. Cheap enough but no substitute for the real thing.
