I’ve got my grandmother’s old Electrolux vacuum. I believe it’s one of the 1950’s models as it has that distinctive greenish-blue paint scheme I associate with that era. It still works like a champ. Along with the vacuum I ended up with about 20 years worth of extra vacuum bags and it wasn’t until just recently that I came down to the end of my supply. The bags I’ve been using are definitely vintage and in their original packaging sleeve. I will upload some images to illustrate the comparison of these bags to the originals and a photo of the original packaging as I think some of you would get a kick out of seeing that. These replacement bags are pretty much identical to the originals in design. Only the graphics differ. I’ve tried one out and have no complaints as it seems to works just like the originals. Glad I found a source for these because I wouldn’t be surprised if my grandmother’s old Electrolux lasts another 50 years. BTW, when I was trying to figure out where to buy replacement bags I contacted Electrolux and discovered that Electrolux-branded vacuums of this vintage were produced by an American company named Aerus. Aerus is still in business and still producing a vacuum descendant of this classic. I checked out their web site and their “Lux” canister models are modern twists of this classic design.

I inherited my husband’s grandmother’s old Electrolux vacuum and anytime it’s needed bags or filters I have to go online. It’s hard to find vacuum bags for 15+ year old vacuums!
These bags have been great for my Machine. I have gone through a full pack of 12 with no issue. No bag splitting. The closure part fits really snug so I feel like no pet hair or dust can escape. I’m ordering another pack!

The bags are flimsy. The filtering material inside the bag comes apart leaving just the outer bage intact.

My grandmother still swears by her 1960s canister vacuum, as she probably should based on its lifespan. With age, finding parts and bags for it has become impossible locally. It was great to find these for her, as she reports they are a perfect fit and work well at a reasonable price.

The bags I received do not look like the bags pictured. They are made in China. They are of extremely thin paper – like rice paper. The ad on Amazon said they were 4-ply, and indeed, I would not have bought them if they were not. However, the internal packaging on the bags I received makes no mention of them being 4-ply. They don’t feel anything like the 4-ply bags I have on hand.
I would NOT purchase these bags from this vendor again. Buyer beware. I am not willing to risk my vacuum cleaner by saving a few bucks on the bags. I thought I was getting a good deal because I was buying in bulk, but it seems the price was low to correspond with the quality of the product.

These vacuum bags are wonderful! They hold a lot of dirt. The heavy plastic closure around the suction hole in the bag keeps the dust, dirt and pet hair (we have 3 doggies and 5 kitties) in the bag as opposed to becoming a dirty cloud in your face!

I got this product for an old vacuum at my grandparents house in Canada. The last time I was there I took pictures of it with the hopes of trying to find bags for it. I was pleasantly surprised when I found the bags I was looking for. The work as advertised and I have no complaints about them. They are easy to place into the vaccum and do a good job of trapping the dirt and dust. I have had dust escape from the vacuum but I think that was because I did not put the bag on right.

These vacuum bags garbage. Signal full when barely 1/10th full. Would never buy again.
